The hotel guest went mad when Yun Xi refused to have a drink with him. He ended up holding her hostage and injured a hotel security staff. The guest dragged Yun Xi to the rooftop of the hotel. Because of this emergency, Tai Jun were notified of the situation, and Zhen Yin had to stay at the front desk.

Rong Qi found out that Yun Xi has been held hostage. He risked his life saving her, sustaining minor injuries during the process. The guest threatened to jump from the rooftop, but changed his mind after Yun Xi and Tai Jun's persuasion.

Dong Xian waited in the empty church for Zhen Yin. When the hostage situation was resolved, Zhen Yin ran to the church but Dong Xian has already left.

Dong Xian returned to the hotel, had a few drinks in the bar. He tried writing notes to Zhen Yin but could not complete them.

Zhen Yin went to Sapphire to look for Dong Xian; and waited for him there. Tai Jun came around, they walked back together and talked. On their way back, Dong Xian returned in his car, saw Zhen Yin with Tai Jun together and was furious.

After Rong Qi saved Yun Xi, some co-workers treated her even worse than before, as she was perceived as having special relation with the son of the Hotel president.

Tai Jun asked Zhen Yin to meet him in Casablanca. It was his birthday. They sat and talked about the old days, and Zhen Yin toasted to Tai Jun for their friendship. When they left Casablanca, Zhen Yin saw Leo drinking at the bar, and met Dong Xian at the door. Both of them stopped, but Dong Xian did not look at Zhen Yin. At the bar, Dong Xian told Leo to find out who owns the shares of Hotel Seoul as he planned to speed up the hotel purchasing plan.

Soon, Dong Xian got most of the shares. At the same time, Tai Jun was under a lot of pressure as the bank was pushing for loan repayment. Yun Xi brought in dinner for him in his office to comfort and support him.

Dong Xian found that that the crucial 3% share was with Mrs. Song, and told director Kim over dinner, in the presence of Yun Xi.

Mrs. Song came to the hotel as a guest, and asked for Tai Jun. Zhen Yin tried to avoid further complication (Tai Jun left Hotel Seoul 3 years ago because of his scandal with Mrs. Song) and she lied to Mrs. Song that Tai Jun was away for a conference. Mrs. Song asked Zhen Yin to go to department store to purchase underwear for her.

Dong Xian asked manager Wu to collaborate with him to save the hotel, and told him that once he got the share from Mrs. Song, the hotel would be changing hand. Manager Wu told Dong Xian that Mrs. Song was staying at the hotel currently. Yun Xi told Tai Jun of Dong Xian's plan on getting the share from Mrs. Song.

Dong Xian was in Mrs. Song's room when Zhen Yin went to see Mrs. Song after shopping for her.
