The retrenchment list was posted, and staffs were horrified. Tai Jun went to see Dong Xian about retracting his retrenchment order, but was refused.

Zhen Yin would like to help talking to Dong Xian, but was stopped by Tai Jun. Zhen Yin was depressed, and went home with Chun Qing, who suggested that they went KTV to relieve some depression.

In the evening, Tai Jun asked to see Dong Xian to submit his resignation.

At the KTV, Zhen Yin got emotional.

Dong Xian was at the Casablanca with Leo, trying to figure out why Tai Jun submit his resignation.

Zhen Yin and Chun Qing finished KTV, passed by Casablanca, and saw Dong Xian. Zhen Yin and Chun Qing hurried upstairs. Zhen Yin waited at the rail for Dong Xian.

Tai Jun went into Sapphire to collect information on Dong Xian's Hotel Seoul acquisition plan. Dong Xian came back with Leo, and Tai Jun escaped through the balcony.

With the information, Tai Jun went to see the newspaper editor (whose live was saved by Tai Jun's CPR earlier). The editor agreed to help out in finding whether there were any illegal dealings in Dong Xian and director Jin's plan.

At the hotel, the staff heard about Tai Jun's resignation. A meeting was called and the staff decided on a massive resignation. Manager Wu found out and got into a fight with one of the chef. Dong Suk was notified and tried to stop the fight. Tai Jun called back and asked the staff to calm down when he tried to resolve the matter.

Dong Suk asked to see Yun Xi. Yun Xi was asked to leave the hotel as she was director Jin's daughter. Yun Xi had no choice but to leave. Feeling sad, she had a talk with Rong Qi on the rooftop.
