Dong Xian took a walk around Hotel Seoul. He saw the giggling chambermaids, the polite bellboy along the passageway, Jie Ni and her colleagues, as well as Zhen Yin at the front desk, conversing politely with a hotel guest … all these were details he didn’t realize in the past …

Zhen Yin saw him approached, "Yes, mister?"

He asked, "May I know where is the most scenic place in Hotel Seoul?"

She smiled. She has a place in mind.

(Top Floor — Hotel Seoul)

This is Zhen Yin’s secret hiding place. It is a restricted area.

That is a sunny day, with light breeze. One can view the Han River and almost the entire Seoul City from there.

Dong Xian saw the breath-taking scenery. He took a few big steps towards the railing. He walked a few steps to the right, and back to the left again. Zhen Yin followed his actions behind him. Dong Xian look different today, she thought.

He took some big breaths. Zhen Yin sighed after him.

The view is magnificent, "Why do you restrict the guests from such a scenic place?"

"I agree. It will be profitable to set up a beverage section here", Zhen Yin replied from a business point of view, jokingly.

Dong Xian took a look at her comical expression, "There you go again!"

She smiled. Jie Ni has invited Dong Xian to dinner at Zhen Yin’s apartment that night. Zhen Yin promised to be home straight after work. A sumptuous dinner would be awaiting her that night, thanks to Dong Xian. She admitted her lousy cutlery skills in front of him. They laughed.

"Actually … this is my secret hiding place. I’ll come here for a rest whenever I feel tired, sleepy or lazy", Zhen Yin confessed.

"Then I have come to the correct place. That is exactly how I feel now", he said casually.

Zhen Yin looked at him curiously, "Do you feel sleepy now?"

"No, it’s the third reason", Dong Xian supplied the answer. He looked relaxed.

"You are feeling lazy?" Zhen Yin exclaimed in disbelief "Goodness! Will you feel tired with your job?"

"Never" Dong Xian admitted "However … A strange wind seems to be blowing today"

She laughed, "Strange wind?"

"I could see all the hotel employees’ polite greetings today … this is something I have never took note before", Dong Xian related his experience.

What is so strange about this? The hotel staff has always been polite. Maybe Dong Xian chose to ignore them in the past, "Because you chose to ignore your feelings and … scared of emotional entanglements previously"

Dong Xian smiled at her lecture, "I see these people now."

"Goodness" Zhen Yin nagged "To think you have requested me to block my ears, close my eyes … and only focus on ‘dear you’?"

Dong Xian caught her words, "dear?"

Zhen Yin’s face warmed, "I am getting a little out of line …"

Dong Xian couldn’t conceal the genuine happiness that has started to fill his heart and mind.

He smiled to her gently, "Zhen Yin, thank you" he looked at her beloved hotel "You let me discover the other me … the different me that has been in my heart"

She smiled in agreement. His aloof shield has disintegrated.

He held her shoulder and she lean on him. Together, they shared the magnificent view from the top floor of THEIR hotel.
