Dong Suk fainted in her office and was taken to the hospital by Tai Jun. She revealed to him that she was dying but asked him to keep it a secret. After she left, she hoped Tai Jun could take care of the hotel, and treated Rong Qi as his own brother.

Rong Qi went to pick up Yun Xi at her friend's toy shop, and took her to play with fireworks. Yun Xi told Rong Qi that their parents knew each other for a long time, and her dad (director Jin) could have married his mum (Dong Suk), and they could have been brother and sister...

In Zhen Yin's apartment, Jenny was preparing food, and Dong Xian was waiting for Zhen Yin to return. Tai Jun came in, and was not keen to talk to Dong Xian. Dong Xian went back to the hotel to pick up Zhen Yin, and expressed his admiration for Tai Jun. He asked Zhen Yin to arrange for lunch with Tai Jun.

At Sapphire, Dong Xian was shredding all the files related to the hotel Seoul case. Leo was angry as Dong Xian did not discuss with him before taking action and went for a drink alone. Dong Xian came to apologize and asked for his blessing for Zhen Yin and himself. Leo was touched.

Tai Jun was not keen about the lunch, but went along. At lunch, Tai Jun was uncomfortable in front of Dong Xian and Zhen Yin. When Dong Xian told him that he no longer worked for director Jin. Tai Jun was sarcastic, and asked him whether the game was still on before he left.

Tai Jun came out of the restaurant and met Yun Xi. Yun Xi asked him to promise to have meal with her one day.

Director Jin went to Sapphire, and only Leo was around. He asked Leo whether Dong Xian had another plot, and Leo did not confirm. Dong Xian came back and told director Jin that he would no longer work with him on the hotel acquisition case.

Tai Jun and Zhen Yin talked on the second floor of Casablanca. Zhen Yin was not happy about Tai Jun's behavior at lunch. Half-jokingly, she said she was happy that her proposal to Tai Jun was rejected as they could be arguing all day if they were married. Tai Jun was not happy and asked her how she could say something like this as if it did not matter anymore.

Director Jin told Yun Xi that he had arranged for her to study abroad. Later in the evening, Director Jin's man accidentally passed a file containing Dong Xian's illegal dealings in the Hotel Seoul case to Yun Xi. Yun Xi went to see Dong Xian with the file. Dong Xian asked her how he could return this big favor and Yun Xi asked him to help Tai Jun.

After she left, Leo inspected the file closely. As it was the original document, Dong Xian and Leo would be OK if the files were shredded. However, Dong Xian decided not to shred the file in order to take revenge on director Jin.

Director Jin went to see Tai Jun, threatened to withdraw his investment in the hotel. Because of this, the hotel was in financial trouble. The managers were discussing about this in private, when the house cleaning ladies came in. They were sent as delegates of the housekeeping team, who were prepared to work without pay to help the hotel to tie through the financial problem. Zhen Yin asked them not to worry and told them that Tai Jun would take care of this.

Yun Xi went to see Tai Jun, telling him that she would be leaving soon.

Tai Jun called Dong Xian to meet in front of Diamond Villa, and asked him to help. Dong Xian agreed. Tai Jun brought up the game issue again, and asked whether Dong Xian changed side because he was afraid of losing. Dong Xian did not reply. Tai Jun thank him for his help again before they parted.
