Zhen Yin went search for Tai Jun in UNLV and Flamico. After much hardship, Zhen Yin finally found Tai Jun, washing dishes in a steak restaurant in Las Vegas. No hotel would employ him despite of his capability as a talented hotelier.

Zhen Yin tried to convince Tai Jun to go back to Seoul. Tai Jun did not wish to return as he was framed by Madam Song (a politician’s wife) for misconduct 3 years ago. After his resignation from Hotel Seoul, no hotel in Korea wanted to take him in so he left for the States. Even though he did not dowell in US, he has no wish to return to Korea.

Zhen Yin went to a restaurant named <300 Roses> for dinner. The steak was tough and the salad was stale. Moreover, the waiters were inattentive to her requests for coffee refills and dirtied her scarf. She voiced her complains to the manager of the restaurant loudly.

She wasn’t aware that Dong Xian and Leo were seated in a table near her then. Dong Xian saw Zhen Yin for the first time there and was duly impressed by her out-spoken personality and frank character.

Dong Xian was invited by Jin Fu Wan to take charge of the acquisition case of Hotel Seoul, in Seoul. He was not really interested in the deal so he proposed some steep conditions for Director Jin to consider.

Dong Xian and Zhen Yin happened to stay in the same hotel in Las Vegas. She nearly bumped into him in the lift. Dong Xian asked Leo to find out her room number and sent her a nice scarf via the hotel’s "room service" facility. He signed off as "Frank". Zhen Yin was puzzled with the identity of "Frank". She speculated that the gift was from Tai Jun.

Zhen Yin saw a girl Jenny in Tai Jun’s apartment and mistook her as his lover. She stormed off. Tai Jun gave chase. She gave the former Hotel Seoul President’s document to Tai Jun. It was indicated in the document that Tai Jun should be appointed as the next General Manager of Hotel Seoul.

Tai Jun’s pastor has asked him to take good care of Jenny. She got into some trouble and needed money. He asked Zhen Yin if he could borrow a sum of money from her. Zhen Yin was willing to lend the money to Tai Jun, on the condition that he returns to Hotel Seoul as the General Manager. As he needed the money urgently, Tai Jun pretended to agree.

Together, Tai Jun and Zhen Yin saved Jenny from the bad guys. Tai Jun was nearly shot in the process and three of them left for LA.

In the car, Zhen Yin realized that Tai Jun has no intention on returning to Seoul with her. They argued. Both of them got angry, and Tai Jun dumped Zhen Yin and her luggage in the middle of the desert!
