Jin Fu Wan realized
that he has forgotten Yun Xi's birthday, and asked her to go
buy some presents for herself. Yun Xi spent a lot of money as she felt that
the more money she has spent, the happier her father thought she would be.
Jin Fu Wan invited Dong Xian for dinner and introduced Yun Xi to him. Dong
Xian realized that Yun Xi was the girl he saw in Hotel Seoul, carrying a
bottle of sleeping pills. Yun Xi asked Dong Xian not to tell her father,
and Dong Xian said he is not interested in other people’s business.
Tai Jun found evidence
of Manager Wu fooling around with a female staff in the hotel. Manager Wu
realized that if he used his evidence against Tai Jun at the board meeting,
his own scandal would be exposed. Hence, he called off his plan.
At the same time, the
customer Tai Jun saved was a newspaper editor. He thanked Tai Jun in the front
page of the newspaper. Everyone in the hotel was impressed.
Tai Jun was formally elected
as the General Manager after the board meeting. The hotel staff planned to
throw a party for him at the hotel after work that day.
Zhen Yin took Dong Xian
to the shrine. She treated Dong Xian cotton candy and revealed she gave chocolates
to a certain man every Valentine's Day. Dong Xian admitted that he admired
the luck of this "Mr Valentine's day". Zhen Yin attempted
to explain the history of the shrine but Dong Xian ended up explaining it
to her instead. She was impressed!
They talked about love
and marriage. They saw 2 couples that did not look too compatible. Dong
Xian commented that the incompatible appearances have made them even more
compatible in fact. The reason being the couples could actually compliment
each other. Zhen Yin was impressed and joked that Harvard really taught their
students everything! Dong Xian added although he has studied hard in Harvard,
he still couldn’t find his other half! However, Dong Xian was disturbed
when they talked about parents who have abandoned their kids. |
