Dong Xian made good progress with purchasing the Hotel Seoul early in the morning. He woke Zhen Yin up and drove her to a church, intended to confess to her why he came to Seoul.

However, Zhen Yin was too tired and fell asleep in the church. He held her in his arms lovingly, and planted a soft kiss on her forehead. The bliss moment was interrupted by the hotel’s call regarding an urgent meeting. In the church, they made a promise (and a "carbon copy") to each other that Dong Xian would confess to Zhen Yin later.

Yun Xi started working as a waitress in the restaurant in Hotel Seoul. Her potential as a hotelier started to show. Mr Jin came looking for her. In a moment of panic, she knocked over another waiter’s tray, and created a mess at the restaurant. She was depressed about not doing her work well, and Tai Jun comforted her.

This is Zhen Yin’s birthday. Her sleep was interrupted by the ringing doorbell. Dong Xian has sent her many boxes of clothing, shoes and bags. He called her, and she found that he was already downstairs, waiting. She changed, hurried down with all the boxes. She told him that she did not want expensive gifts and all she wanted was a good dinner as she had not has her lunch yet.

Zhen Yin’s colleagues planned a surprised party for her at her home. Tai Jun was busy and forgot about getting her a gift. Just before the shop closed for the day, he ran in, and bought her a necklace as birthday gift.

Dong Xian returned all the boxes to the shops and bought Zhen Yin a necklace instead. Over the dinner table, he told her how he struggled from a poor student to the rich, successful corporate raider today. He told her, "The silly man who only knows how to make money has now opened his eyes to the world of love."

At the same time, Zhen Yin told Dong Xian that she has been rejected by a man she loved. Even though they are supposed to be friends only, her heart still pounds when she sees him now. Dong Xian told her that she was still under the shadow of this love but he will wait for her.

Dong Xian sent Zhen Yin home after dinner and their embrace at the entrance was witnessed by the people in Zhen Yin’s house (who planned a surprise party for her), including Tai Jun.
