At the door, Yu Jin hesitated. At the end, she turned around and left. In the lift, she broke down and cried.

Next day, in the office, Yu Jin's senior told her that Man Yeong was leaving for US, and suggested that she should send him off. Yu Jin told her that there was no need to. Sitting at her table, Yu Jin found a package sent from Joon Sang, containing a CD of "the first time". In the note attached, he informed her that he should be on the plane by then. Even though he could not play and tape it, as Joon Sang did, he still wished she like it... Then, Yu Jin remembered that she had never told Man Yeong about Joon Sang and his tape... she rushed to the airport.

At the airport, Yu Jin searched frantically for Joon Sang. When Joon Sang was about to enter the departure gate, a little girl dropped her shoes in front of him. He picked it up and put them on her. Suddenly, an image of Joon Sang putting on the shoes for Yu Jin when they climbed over the school wall flooded in... At this point, Yu Jin was behind him, calling him Joon Sang. She apologized for not recognizing him earlier and collapsed into his arms.

Joon Sang stayed and checked into a hotel. He sat and talked to Yu Jin. Yu Jin kept calling him Joon Sang. Then, he apologized that he did not have the memory of Joon Sang, but whatever Yu Jin wanted to say, he would listen. Yu Jin replied that for the 10 years of Joon Sang's absence, her wish was to be able to call his name again. She dared not call his name because she was afraid of not receiving any reply. In tears, she insisted that Joon Sang could not be dead as he promised to see her on New Year's Eve ... However, a teary Joon Sang said he could not remember... Yu Jin asked him about the gloves... their date... the piano piece he played for her... skipping school... bicycle... holding her hands... but Joon Sang had no recollection at all. At the end, he apologized. Yu Jin told him that that was not Man Yeong's fault... it was Joon Sang's fault... still alive but forgot all about her while she has not forgotten anything...

Zhen Suk called Sang Hyuk, as Yu Jin did not return home. At Yu Jin's house, Sang Hyuk received a call from Joon Sang. Joon Sang informed Sang Hyuk that Yu Jin was asleep on his sofa, and asked Sang Hyuk to pick her up the next day as he did not want to wake her up. Sang Hyuk was at a lost when he hanged up the phone. Lung Kok came in. Sang Hyuk told Lung Kok and Zhen Suk that Man Yeong was in fact Joon Sang.

At the hotel, Joon Sang put Yu Jin into the bed, sat on a chair and looked at her... Sang Hyuk waited downstairs in his car outside the hotel.

Next morning, Joon Sang left when Yu Jin was still asleep. She woke up while he closed the door. She found a note left by Joon Sang, asking her whether Joon Sang used to call her "Yu Jin" (instead of Ms. Yu Jin) as he could not remember. Even though he was Joon Sang, he was not the Joon Sang Yu Jin missed. He thanked her for retaining the memory that he did not have... Yu Jin rushed out, Sang Hyuk grabbed her from behind but she kept going.

Yu Jin saw Joon Sang walking on the other side of the street. She called him. He stopped. She dashed across the road. A bus rushed towards her. Joon Sang pushed her away from the bus, and was knocked down by the bus...
In the hospital ward, Yu Jin was at Joon Sang's bed side. Choi Lim came in and kept addressing Joon Sang "Man Yeong", refusing to accept the fact that Man Yeong is Joon Sang. Choi Lim shouted at Yu Jin for getting Man Yeong into this state. Sang Hyuk tried to stop her but she continued. Her friend pulled her out from the ward.

Sang Hyuk came back with packed dinner. He saw Yu Jin outside the ward. Yu Jin told him that she was afraid: if anything happened to Joon Sang, it would be her fault and told him that she could not eat. Sang Hyuk told her that she needed the energy if she wanted to take care of Joon Sang. Sang Hyuk left the packed dinner behind. Eventually, she ate. Later in the evening, she went back into the ward. She told the unconscious Joon Sang that she would not leave him again...

Next morning, Mei Xi came to the hospital. She asked Yu Jin whether she was the one who told Man Yeong that he looked like Joon Sang. She insisted that Man Yeong should be left as Man Yeong, and told Yu Jin that she would find someone to take care of Joon Sang. Yu Jin begged Mei Xi to let her take care of Joon Sang. Mei Xi left without bringing up the issue again...

Joon Sang was still in a coma. Sang Hyuk came to tell Yu Jin that he was the one who told Joon Sang to leave her alone. He asked Yu Jin what she would do if Joon Sang did not wake up but Yu Jin replied that it would not happen...

Choi Lim met Sang Hyuk in a pub. Choi Lim got drunk and was shouting and crying in the middle of a busy road.

Yu Jin's mum reminded Yu Jin that she should not be in the hospital as she was already engaged to Sang Hyuk. Yu Jin replied that Joon Sang was her true destiny as she fell in love with the same person twice, and both of them were involved in traffic accident respectively because of her... whether Joon Sang loved her or remembered her was no longer important, as all she wanted now was that he stayed alive...

In the evening, Joon Sang's condition worsened. Yu Jin prayed outside the ward... Mei Xi went home after his condition stabilized. Yu Jin fell asleep while taking care of Joon Sang in the ward.

Joon Sang woke up, found Yu Jin by his bedside, and touched her face. That woke her up. She wanted to go to get the doctor, but Joon Sang kept calling her, "Yu Jin...Yu Jin..." She turned back... part of the memory as Joon Sang has finally came back to him...
