Sang Hyuk could not find Yu Jin in her hotel room. He asked her colleagues where she was...

At the church, Joon Sang and Yu Jin were exchanging wedding vows. Sang Hyuk came and told Joon Sang he won't allow this to happen. Sang Hyuk dragged Yu Jin away. Joon Sang stood there, did not give chase. Joon Sang's senior entered the church and asked him what has happened. Joon Sang kept muttering that he thought no one knew...

Sang Hyuk sent Yu Jin home. In her room, Yu Jin asked Sang Hyuk why he was doing this. Sang Hyuk told her that no one would give them their blessings but Yu Jin told him that it did matter to her. At the end, Sang Hyuk insisted that she could not marry Joon Sang...

Sang Hyuk found Joon Sang waiting for him downstairs. Joon Sang asked Sang Hyuk whether he could pretend nothing has happened and left them alone. Sang Hyuk refused.

Yu Jin looked for Joon Sang at the ski resort, his house, his office but could not find him anywhere. She went to see Mei Xi, who told her bluntly that she was against their marriage, and refused to tell her where Joon Sang was. After leaving Mei Xi's office, Yu Jin dropped her polaris necklace, which fell down many floors and broke.

Mei Xi told Joon Sang that Yu Jin was looking for him. She advised him to break up with Yu Jin as it is impossible for them to get married...

Joon Sang went to Yu Jin's house and called her from downstairs. She was upset at first that he was hiding from her. Joon Sang apologized. He told her that he has disappeared for a while to settle something. Yu Jin cried and they embraced.

Joon Sang drove Yu Jin to the seaside... this was the first time they view the sea together... and would be their last time as well, as Joon Sang decided to part with Yu Jin there. Walking along the beach, Yu Jin collected a lot of coins. Joon Sang told her that he wanted to collect more coins to buy a ship, so both of them could sail to somewhere and never return. Yu Jin replied that there were too many people she missed and therefore could not go away for too long...

Yu Jin asked Joon Sang to wait for her at the beach when she went to the shop. After she went off, Joon Sang phoned Sang Hyuk, asking him to destroy the photos he took with Yu Jin the other day. He asked Sang Hyuk to come to the seaside to pick up Yu Jin... Yu Jin came back with a disposable camera, and a special coin (both sides were heads). She told Joon Sang that with this coin, fate would always be on their side. With the disposable camera, they took pictures at the beach...

In the evening, they found a hostel to stay overnight, but there were only one room. Yu Jin sat next to Joon Sang. He looked at her, stroke her hair and face, wanted to kiss her, but did not... he got up and left the room...

Next morning, they went to the market. Joon Sang went to buy fish cake and asked Yu Jin to wait for him. Yu Jin left the spot to help an old lady to move something. Joon Sang came back and couldn’t find her. He looked all over, and eventually found her. The angry Joon Sang asked Yu Jin where she was, and what is she going to do if he is not around. After that, they sat by the sea, but Joon Sang was very quiet. Yu Jin told him that the polaris necklace was broken and that was why she was lost. Joon Sang took the necklace from her, telling her that he would repair it...

In the evening, Joon Sang apologized for shouting at Yu Jin earlier on. Yu Jin asked for "compensation", and asked him what they would be doing the next day. Joon Sang did not reply and he changed topic. He told her not to look around when she walked as she would get lost... has to be more careful not to lose things... has to learn how to say "no" to people... Yu Jin protested and asked him what were her good points. In tears, Joon Sang told her that she had no good points at all and left the room... After Yu Jin fell asleep, Joon Sang apologized, gave her a kiss on her cheek and left... Alone, he went to the seaside... threw the special coin, the camera, and the polaris necklace into the sea... broke down and cried...

Next morning, Yu Jin woke up and could not find Joon Sang in the room. She went outside and found Sang Hyuk waiting. Sang Hyuk told her that Joon Sang has left already as he did not want to hurt Mei Xi. Yu Jin did not believe and she ran around looking for Joon Sang. She was stopped by Sang Hyuk.

At Sang Hyuk's house, Zhen Yu was thinking about his earlier conversation with Mei Xi...the day Yu Jin's parents got married, Mei Xi attempted to commit suicide... whether she still remember that night... and he always thought Joon Sang was his son. Mei Xi told him that she did not want to talk about the past. Zhen Yu asked her whether she was pregnant with Joon Sang already... she did not reply... When they part, Mei Xi told Zhen Yu that the difference between him and Xin Zhou. She knew that Zhen Yu loved her, but Xin Zhou did not as only Zhen Yu believed everything she said...

Sang Hyuk came back and talked to Zhen Yu about Yu Jin and Joon Sang. The more Zhen Yu thought about it, the more he realized things did not add up: if Joon Sang was Xin Zhou's son, he should not be at the same age as Yu Jin and thus should not be classmates...

Sang Hyuk's mother heard their discussion, found out that Joon Sang and Yu Jin were siblings. She went to see Yu Jin, asking her why she was still seeing Sang Hyuk. During the conversation, she told Yu Jin that Joon Sang was her brother. Yu Jin was shocked, and ran downstairs....
