Character: Simple, honest, responsible, diligent, humble & friendly.
He loves and respects his job very much.
Occupation: Distilled water delivery man
Education: High school graduate
At first, he agreed to be the bogus boyfriend of Jang Su Jin unwillingly,
in order to save Baek Kwang Su. However, he fell in love with Jang Su
Jin later.
Jang Su Jin (by Choi Ji Woo)
Character: Only child of President Jang. She is always protected and taken
care by her secretary and servants. She is elegant yet stubborn; dependent,
naive yet desire for freedom, away from the restrictions of her father.
Occupation: Student
Education: Oxford University (Major in Fine Arts)
She lied to her Dad that she has a boyfriend in the UK in order to prevent
her Dad from pushing her into marraige immediately. She fell for Kim Yong
Nam in the process of cooperation, and even ran away from home to show
her love for him.
Park Ae Jah (by Choi Lan)
She is the secretary and personal assistant of Jang Su Jin. She is very
loyal to Jang Su Jin and to her family.
Myung Gi Nam (by Myung Gye Nam)
He is Kim Yong Nam's Uncle. Kim Yong Nam stayed in his house.
Occupation: Film Director

He met Kim Yong Nam in a fight with his friend. He found out that Kim
Yong Nam is living with him as well. Later, he saw Kim Yong Nam as his
"brother", for he had saved him from staying in prison.
Joo Eun Ha (by Choi Jung Yoon)
She is Myung Gi Nam's niece and staying with him as well. She works in
a hair salon and always dream about getting into the elite class of life.
Kang Sung Il (by Kim Byung Se)
He is the President of the Dash Company. He would achieve his own goals
by any means. After knowing Jang Su Jin's social status and family background,
he decided to hunt her as well as her family business.
President Jang (by Lee Soon
Jae)
Jang Su Jin's father. He is one of the most prominent and richest businessmen
in South Korea. He is very strict and authoritative to her only daughter;
superstitious and concerned about Feng Shui.
Jang Soo Chul (Park Young Kyu)
Jang Su Jin's uncle. He is rather open-minded and rather close with Jang
Su Jin than his elder brother (President Jang). He is the Director of
the water business.Brief Synopsis:
Kim Yong Nam had won the “Super Water Delivery Man of June”
via his hardworking and sincerity to his customers. He just moved into
his Uncle (Myung Gi Nam) and Aunt’s house. Their niece, Joo Eun Ha,
and Baek Kwang Su were staying there as well.
On the other side of the City, Jang Su Jin came back from the UK immediately
after she heard of her father’s emergent sickness. Her father owned
a big and well-known enterprise in the country. She is his only daughter.
He always hoped that Su Jin could get married soon and her husband could
help out the family business. By the age of 26, Su Jin was still single
and had no boyfriend in the UK. So, President Jang made an excuse - he
was very sick, in order to “cheat” his daughter back home.
Jang Su Jin was very angry when she was her father sitting healthily in
the office with all her Uncles. She found out that her father had already
prepared 4 husband candidates, with the suggestions from his Feng Shui
Consultant. All the candidates are high in social and economic status.
Moreover, they were “calculated” to be a good match with Su
Jin and could save the enterprise too.
Jang Su Jin partied every night, but she had no feelings for all the candidates.
Su Jin did not want to go for parties any more. So she lied to her father
that she already had a boyfriend in the UK, and they were about to get
married. She thought her father would then let her go back to the UK,
but she was wrong. Her parents were so excited and asked to see him immediately.
She and her secretary, Park Ae Jah, to search for a man to be her bogus
boyfriend, and hopefully, this would settle the problem soon.
Park Ae Jah knew Myung Gi Nam for a long time, so she called him and asked
for help. She wound provide financial assistance for every set up and
preparation. Myung Gi Nam, a Film Director, tried his best to search among
actors, but he found none was suitable.
Meanwhile, Baek Kwang Su and his friend (both restaurant delivery boys)
had a motorcycle race with some gangs, and got into an accident. Baek
Kwang Su and his friend would be put into jail without $8 million Korean
Won. Kim Yong Nam treated them as his brothers and wanted to save them;
however, he did not have much money.
Myung Gi Nam then persuaded Kim Yong Nam to be the bogus boyfriend for
Jang Su Jin. Kim Yong Nam rejected the idea strongly. Without any hope
of getting the money in a short period of time, he accepted the mission
unwillingly. Myung Gi Nam immediately brought him to take some studio
photos and to meet Jang Su Jin and Secretary Park.
As Kim Yong Nam and Jang Su Jin came from two totally different social
backgrounds, their first meeting was not pleasant. Without any knowledge
of table manners, Kim Yong Nam mistakenly drank the bowl of water which
was for washing hands. This shocked Jang Su Jin so much that she complaint
to Secretary Park for not carefully choosing the right person. It is impossible
for her to take Kim Yong Nam as her "boyfriend". Kim Yong Nam
overheard the conversation and left in anger and embarrassment.
But soon, Secretary Park called him for help again because Jang Su Jin’s
parents had seen his photos. They seemed to like him very much and asked
to meet him promptly. In one week, Kim Yong Nam had been trained intensively
by Secretary Park. He was very diligent and learnt very fast. With the
help of apparel and grooming, he did look like an elegant gentleman from
Oxford.
Kang Sung Il was the boss of the Dash Company, his company would go bankrupt
if he still could not find any investors. He spotted Jang Su Jin that
day at the airport and found out her rich background. He decided to use
her in order to save the enterprise. So, he ordered his assistant to investigate
Su Jin as well as her father in secret.
The day had come. With the help of Myung Gi Nam and his filming crew,
Kang Ji Yun (Kim Yong Nam) arrived at the airport and met Su Jin's parents.
What Kim Yong Nam found out was that her Uncle (Jang Soo Chul) was his
boss. Fortunately, he did not recognize Yong Nam.
Su Jin’s parents were very pleased to see “Kang Ji Yun”
and were very satisfied with their daughter’s choice. Su Jin felt
released and appreciated Yong Nam’s big help. She started to discover
his good personality; and he started to discover her charm.
Kang Sung Il's assistant kidnapped Myung Gi Nam and his photographer friend
and forced them to tell the truth. Moreover, Kang Sung Il approached President
Jang and Jang Su Jin bit by bit. One day, he tricked Kim Yong Nam and
let President Jang saw that he was in fact a water delivery man. President
Jang was pissed off; he fired Secretary Park and restricted his daughter
from going out of the house without his permission. Kim Yong Nam also
resigned from his job.
Su Jin felt so sorry for Yong Nam. Yong Nam knew his background - it's
impossible for them to be together. Meanwhile, Myung Gi Nam, his photographer
friend and Park Ae Jah discovered Kang Sung Il's secret plan. They decided
to take a revenge on him.
Kang Sung Il managed to give President Jang a good impression successfully.
That forced Jang Su Jin to marry Kang. Jang Su Jin refused strongly and
ran away from home for Kim Yong Nam. Kim Yong Nam was touched by her action
and acknowledged his love for her. But, he knew she could not have a bliss
future with him. He bore the pain and called her family to pick her up.
He even told Su Jin that he was just curious about her. Su Jin was heartbroken
and accepted to marry Kang Sung Il, so she could leave this land of sadness
as soon as possible.
Myung Gi Nam, Park Kwang Su, Park Ae Jah and the photographer countered
back by setting up President Jang to witness him with his ex-girlfriend
in a Hotel room. Jang was also told by his brother about Kang Sung Il's
conspiracy. He realized what a fool he was to believe in Kang Sung Il.
He stopped pushing his daughter any more and let her went back to UK.
Kang Sung Il was so mad and demanded 9% of Jang's enterprise stock, otherwise,
the photos of Jang Su Jin with Kim Yong Nam would be published. Kim Yong
Nam was worried about Jang Su Jin's condition; with the help of his delivery
gang, they gave Kang Sung Il and his assistant a lesson harshly. Myung
Gi Nam and the photographer later obtained the photos, some eavesdropping
tapes and other physical evidence; that put them under arrest.
Jang Su Jin's father and Uncle thanked Kim Yong Nam for his unconditional
help. Her father finally recognized his good character. Everybody encouraged
Kim Yong Nam to win Su Jin back, but he refused. Before she left for the
airport, she asked her Uncle to deliver a letter to Yong Nam. After reading
the letter, Yong Nam hysterically ran to the airport to find her. He went
to the announcement center and broadcast his true feelings to Su Jin.
But, it was too late; the plane to London had just departed… …
