The first time I ever heard any mention about Bae Yong Joon was from the papers. My mum showed me a picture of this Korean guy who's really popular at the moment. I looked at it and wondered, “So? He's not that cute.” All these changed about 2 years later (ie, about 2 months ago). Our friend lent us HOTELIER, the korean drama that she got from her other friend. My mum said she heard about it and wanted to see how Bae Yong Joon really looks like. After the 3rd episode, ie after Bae Yong Joon appeared more often… I spent the next 12 hours sitting in front of the screen. I finished watching the whole series in a day. Yes, that was exhausting. Needless to say, I am addicted to this Bae Yong Joon guy there afterward and it just happened. Our friend had another kdrama with him in it called First Love. It was really good too. And a bit later (ie, about 3 weeks ago), we rented Winter Love Song and I really cried on viewing.

However, for some unknown reason I still like Hotelier better than the rest. Maybe because the plot isn't so complicated and is much more cheerful. Oh and Dong Xian and Zhen Yin made the cutest couple I've seem on screen. So basically all the Korean dramas I have watched involved BYJ. I think the guy at the video stores starts to think I have problem. Hmmmmmm.......I should comment more on the drama than the guy. Anyway, Dong Xian was like the best character ever existed. He is polite, confident, HOT, smart, caring and the type of guy every girl dream about meeting. Zhen Yin is about the cutest girl I've seen on Kdrama as well. I mean for one thing - she actually has a personality contrary to most timid and quiet type portrayed by most Asian female characters. HOTELIER got to be one of the best shows ever created.
