Hotelier, this is the first K-drama I watched. I watched it a few months ago. I only came across this wonderful drama accidentally. It was in the occasion of a social gathering in my friend's home. At that time, Hotelier was shown in the TV, and I was impressed by the conversation between Dong Xian and Zhen Yin in the snooker room. And this was my first encounter with K-drama, with Hotelier. My friends fully recommended me to watch this drama. I did not continue to watch it due to my busy work in the following days. When I saw its VCD placed in the video shop some days later, I bought it immediately. But I did not watch Hotelier once I brought it back home too. It had stayed in my shelf for nearly two months before I put the first disc into the VCD player on one idle Sunday afternoon. Since I started watching the first episode, I could not help but watching one episode after another. Due to important work commitments on the following day, I could not watch it overnight, I have to stop at midnight in order to get some rest. I had spent nearly half a Sunday and two more continuous late nights to finish it. I was very much moved by the plots and the lines of this drama. All the actors and actresses were acting so good too, and of course BYJ and SYA are the best.

In my opinion, Hotelier is a modern fairy tale. I wonder whether it will happen in real life - Dong Xian’s complete devotion of everything to Zhen Yin, Zhen Yin’s passion and sacrifices for the Hotel, the true love between Dong Xian and Zhen Yin…… All these impressed me a lot. The story also gives us comfort from the real hard life, as the plots which impossible happened in real life but did happen in this drama, this satisfied our desire for romance.

Before watching Hotelier, I knew nothing about K-drama, nothing about BYJ and SYA.
Before watching Hotelier, I was not a fan of any movie stars.
Before watching Hotelier, I seldom browsed the internet except for work-related purposes.
Before watching Hotelier, I seldom switched on my home PC for non-worked purposes (My home computer was bought for the purpose of OT working at home)
Before watching Hotelier, I could not imagine that I am a person can be intoxicated by only a drama

After watching Hotelier, I became conscious about the K-drama, K-actors/actresses in newspapers, magazines, and video shops.
After watching Hotelier, I became a fan of BYJ and SYA, and keep an eye on their news.
After watching Hotelier, I became searching information about anything about Hotelier through internet.
After watching Hotelier, I became using my home PC more often for visiting the Hotelier-related websites, and other interesting websites recommended by these web-sites too.

The theme song, the scenes, the lines and the plots of Hotelier are always in my mind. After watching Hotelier, I would even sometimes apply those classic lines, Hotelier events into the daily talks or encounters. For example, years ago, I received a bunch of red roses in a hotel room. As time went by, it is really out of my memory already, and even if I think of it, no more special feeling already. But on this year’s Valentine Day, the chats of this hotel guests reminded me of this incident. So, I began excited in having the thought that I really got a room service in real life. This bunch of red roses becomes more meaningful!

Now I was also so addicted to some of the Hotelier fanfics. I really want the story of Dong Xian and Zhen Yin to be continued. They are really perfect couple. I do hope that BYJ and SYA could be together too. But if it is not possible in real life, let it come true in the fanfics.
