Visit to Las Vegas

I am back from Las Vegas! Sad to say, I didn't accomplish much. Since I was with a tour group and America is so big, I did all that I could. Since a few scenes in Hotelier were taken in LA but I don't know where, I couldn't do much.

Las Vegas is a relatively small city, in comparison. I'm quite happy to say that I have found out the hotel which Dong Xian and Zhen Yin stayed, and also discovered some other delicate little details as well:

"The Strip" where TaiJun drove his car is also where the hotel is situated. The hotels in LV are all miniatures of famous sights of the world.

Dong Xian and Zhen Yin stayed at the Paris Hotel, this I am 100% sure, with the confirmation of my friend. I think the Director, with the intention to capture the whole beauty of Las Vegas, did a few camera tricks. When Zhen Yin alighted from the taxi, she opened her mouth quite big, then the camera zoomed into "Treasure Island" and a few hotels, as if that was what Zhen Yin was looking at. In reality, those hotels are quite far away from Paris Hotel, and not directly opposite. The one opposite is Bellagio Hotel, with the spectacular musical fountain Zhen Yin was looking at fr her room when she first reached.

After Zhen Yin went up to the top of "Eiffel Tower" (I went up during the day) and spotted TaiJun soon after she came down, they talked at "Arc de Triomphe" of the Eiffel Tower. When Tai Jun replied that he would not return to Korea, he ran along Bellagio Hotel, while people were looking at the musical fountain. Then the Director did another camera trick - making Zhen Yin follow Tai Jun to a restaurant where he washed dishes. I believe that shot was done separately, because "the strip" is only lined up with theme hotels- brightly lit with a lot of people. That shot might be taken at downtown LV which I didn't visit.

I hope to visit Las Vegas again.
