One of my bad habits is watching too much movies in my spare time. When I like some movies/drama serials, I will watch "till it finish" and sometime I will watch it again "till my VCD player screaming for help" b’coz can’t stand it anymore. And then I begin to watch K-drama (Thanks for my sister, who always bring me some good k-drama VCD from her store).

First, it was Autumn in my Heart. For the beginning episodes, I am touched by the story, beautiful scenery and soundtracks. But I got bored already for the remaining episodes. But my sister insisted to watch it till over b’coz she loved Won Bin, whom didn’t impressed me much. Besides that, I’ve already knew that all the main characters passed away (it is really uncool for me).

Then it continued with All About Eve (I don't like JDG either), Doctor Family (just saw for 3 episodes, didn’t like the story after all), Sunny & Jeanny (just finish 12 episodes), WLS (bad plot, bad characters, but good acting and OST), Guardian Angel etc. I admit that some Korean dramas are more interesting than those dramas in my country (Indonesia). But I feel a little bit disappointed b’coz most of K-drama I’ve ever seen have endings that are either sad or being too melancholic. I even think that all K-dramas will be so sad to see.

Then I saw HOTELIER. I watched this drama accidentially. My sister have brought another K-drama and played it, but I didn’t notice it b’coz I feel so bored to see another K-drama that time. Thought that I didn’t like that drama, my sister took it to the store again. A few weeks later, my sister brought that VCDs again. I had nothing to do in my holidays. I am forced to see it together with my sisters. They were in the third episode, so I didn’t get the starting of the story. I thought, "....Oh another tears again will fall..". But my sister looked so eager watched it, so I decided to watch it till that episode finished. Amazing!!! I couldn’t move my eyes from the screen. Somehow, I keep loading another VCD to my computer. My sisters protested and wanted me to pause the drama, so they can take a break. But I can't help myself. Suddenly, I realized that it is already morning when I can stop watching (I felt so hungry when I turned off my computer … just to get some food!!!).

I don't know why I’m so hypnotized by this serial. Maybe it has good story/plot (funny enough to make me laughed so loud in midnight), good acting from the actors/actress (mostly by BYJ, SYA and KSW), good scenes and soundtrack, or maybe Hotelier has been my inspiration because this is the first drama that is so close to reality. Although I’m still a student in my college, I think that the story about working field in hotelier is very real to me (even it’s a little bit dramatic). I can feel the tension and cooperation when ZY working around like a clock. Rumours spread so fast among the staff, jealousy, the hectic in the Kitchen (I like the way the chef said that kitchen is a battle zone), etc.

But the most I like from this drama is the love story among DX, ZY and TJ. For me, it’s not so simple as it seemed. DX struggled to win ZY’s heart complicated since he can’t decide in the beginning which one his enemy, the hotel or TJ? Feel sorry for TJ b’coz losing ZY, even though TJ&ZY relation come more natural when they together. ZY being trapped between Hotel and the man she loved and sadness being ignored for 3 years by TJ (waiting and guessing). But eventually, every one in this drama become friends (No more sad endings, thank Lord..!)

You can call me crazy, but I have watched this serial for over then 12 times in one month! (I still believe that I can break the record, i.e., to watch it again over 20 times!). Two thumbs for Hotelier!!
