Tae Jun went up to the rooftop,
Jin Young’s secret place, to look for her. He knows too well that
she must be there. She did not look as cheerful as before. She has this
occasional blank expression that one could tell by a good look at her.
She still works hard, but somehow one can feel that something has been
lost in her.
“What are you thinking?” Tae Jun asked.
“What else can I think?” sighed Jin Young.
“Why aren't you at the front desk? It is busy over there. Why have
you become like this?”
“Who made me become like this?” said Jin Young motionlessly.
“We know you have made a big sacrifice so the hotel is able to carry
on smoothly.”
Jin Young sighed again, harder
this time, “No, I am wrong. I couldn’t differentiate love and
friendship. I have the most important opportunity and yet I missed it.
I am really a fool.”
“The opportunity will come again.”
“It won’t…” another sigh. No news from Dong Hyuk for
the past few days. Could this love fade because of the long distance and
separation? Jin Young is quite depressed.
“I will go with Rong Qi to Las Vegas to receive the Asia’s Best
Hotel award from the World Tourism Board, you can take a break.”
“How can I take a break when the Chairman is not around?” Jin
Young almost shouted.
“Don’t worry, General Manager will take care of it. Come with
me now, we have a VIP today. Go and receive him.’
“Gosh, why me all the time? It’s irritating!” Jin Young
just couldn’t control her temper.
“Okay,” Tae Jun tried pampering her.
“Let’s go to Diamond Villa,” said Tae Jun.
Along the way, Jin Young kept mumbling. “Why am I always doing such
things? So much workload, constant overtime, no promotion, you all just
know how to bully me.”
“This VIP is very special. He is in a way that can be vital to our
hotel. Don’t mess things up, remember this.”
“What is so special? Another M&A coming to acquire the Hotel?
Oh, please, why can’t they just leave us alone! But why I am the
one going to receive him?’
“Because you are a woman, and we think you are the most appropriate
person to take up this task. Remember? Woman has some special instinct.”
Another sigh from Jin Young. What a joke! If her instinct is correct,
she should not have let Dong Hyuk just leave like that. She could feel
her heart twisting in pain.
“After receiving this VIP, take a short break from tomorrow onwards,”
he said. Jin Young gave him a “nasty” look.
Tae Jun looked at her, feeling somehow a little sad. This woman was once
fond of him and spent three years waiting for him. Now, he could not see
any love she once has for him. There is no space for him right in her
heart. Yes, she still cared about him. She tells him all the things, even
her very personal feelings towards Dong Hyuk. His role had been changed
from a man to a buddy. If he did not leave her in the deserted highway,
she could still be his woman. An impulsive act has changed the fate of

“Why must we come all the way to Diamond Villa? Isn’t lobby
the right place to receive guest?” Jin Young is still nagging as
they reached Diamond Villa.
“Alright, he is here now. I shall leave him with you,” said
Tae Jun when they entered the Villa.
Jin Young turned her head, looked around, as she is still in a bad mood.
Wait, this man....isn’t he?
She turned and looked at Tae Jun in disbelieve. Tae Jun nodded with a
smile and made an exit.
She dared not blink. She took a few more good looks. She started....started
slowly… walking towards him.
Yes, she is walking towards him. Dong Hyuk is certain now.
Dong Hyuk: Are you waiting for me?
Jin Young nodded lightly with tears. All the longings, thinking, remorse,
desires in the last few months which words could not describe, are compensated
at this moment.
Dong Hyuk looked at her, took a step forward and held out his right hand.
Please, take my hand. I want to dance with you.
Jin Young looked at his hand, this time, she picked up his thought.
“Dong Hyuk...”, Jin Young is almost in a daze.

with me now. Jin Young said, with tears in her eyes.
“I’ve said this before. If you can not come to me, I’ll
come over.”
Dong Hyuk looked at this little woman who has made him flew all the way
across Pacific Ocean, this little woman that has made his heart filled
with contentment ever since. She might not be perfect, but that is the
way that she is, made him feel all these are worth waiting. Dong Hyuk
recalled the moments when he faced the swimming pool in the LA mansion,
after the lunch with Jin Young. Yes, it was then that he knew. Then, he
made a lifetime decision.
“I can not lose you. I wrote that in my e-mail. Dong Hyuk held her
a little tighter.
She looked at this man. This man that has made her realized who her true
love is. This man who her heart has been constantly calling and thinking
of in the past few months. This man who made her cried silently in the
middle of the nights, cried until the heart could feel the pain. She has
reprimanded herself again and again. All that is over now. He is back
now.
'I used to hope we can meet in a place where there is no interruptions,
undisturbed …for five minutes...to hold you in my arms …No,
I'll let you hold me in your arms.... I have become greedier, I want to
be with you...forever.'
This time, she hugged him in return. “I love you”, Jin Young
said. Slowly, her fingers climbed up his arms, his neck, and pulled him
towards her…
